A Message from Glenview Elementary School's New Principal / Un mensaje de la nueva directora de la escuela primaria Glenview

I grew up in the district and am a proud graduate of PYLUSD. For the past four years, I have been at the district office in Ed Services supporting English learners K-12 as a coach and more recently, as the Title I / English Language Development Coordinator. I was also the interim principal for Mabel Paine Elementary School earlier this school year and it was a joy to be there. It was a pleasure building relationships and working alongside students, parents, teachers, and staff. At home, my husband and I have two children: our daughter is in 4th grade at Van Buren and our son is in 7th grade at Kraemer Middle School. These days, we enjoy family game nights and spending time outside as much as possible.

I am confident that 2020-2021 will be a great school year. My official start date is July 1 but please feel free to reach out anytime. I believe in open, transparent leadership and am looking forward to getting to know all of you. Thank you for your continued support of Glenview and our students. I also want to thank Mrs. Brown, our interim principal, for her thoughtful leadership of Glenview during this time. As she finishes the school year in the role of interim principal, we will work together closely to ensure a smooth transition for all.

Crecí en esta área del distrito y soy una orgullosa graduada de PYLUSD. Durante los últimos cuatro años, he estado en la oficina del distrito en Servicios de Educación apoyando a los aprendices de inglés K-12 como entrenadora y, más recientemente, como Coordinadora de Título I/Desarrollo del Idioma Inglés. Este año tuve el placer de asistir como directora interina de la Escuela Primaria Mabel Paine. En casa, mi esposo y yo tenemos dos hijos: nuestra hija está en 4to grado en Van Buren, y nuestro hijo está en 7mo grado en la Escuela Secundaria Kraemer. Durante esta época, disfrutamos de noches de juegos familiares y pasamos el mayor tiempo posible al aire libre.
